Timothy Franklin

Timothy Franklin is the founder of Good Circles, an independent community marketplace based in Mississippi where shopping local saves you about 10%, about 10% of the merchant's net profit funds a nonprofit you choose, and local businesses keep 89% of their profit. Early access is underway in Meridian & Lauderdale County, with the September 2026 launch in the Jackson, MS metro.

Why he's building Good Circles

Most of every dollar spent at a national chain leaves a community the moment it's spent, while local businesses lose 15–30% of each sale to the platforms they depend on. Timothy founded Good Circles in 2026 to change those rails: one purchase that saves the shopper money, funds a local nonprofit, and leaves the business with more of its own profit. Mississippi — his home state for the launch — comes first, then the cities that request it most.

He writes the flagship guides in the Good Circles learning hub on shopping local, passive fundraising, and AmazonSmile alternatives. You can read more about the company and the model on the About page.
