Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of goodcircles.org and the Good Circles founding waitlist. The marketplace itself launches in September 2026, starting in the Jackson, Mississippi metro; marketplace-specific terms (purchases, payouts, returns) will be published before launch and will supplement these.

The waitlist and founding spots

• Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation to use Good Circles at launch.
• Founding designations are limited — the first 200 Mississippi businesses become Founding Merchants and the first 50 nonprofits become Founding Nonprofits. Spots are allocated in signup order among qualifying organizations.
• Waitlist position and invite codes are for personal use and may not be sold.
• No payment is collected, and no purchase is possible, before launch.

Accuracy of what we say

Figures on this site describe how the Good Circles model works: shoppers save about 10% on local purchases, a chosen nonprofit receives 10% of the merchant's net profit on each sale, and merchants keep 89% of profit on a 1% platform fee. Exact amounts on a given sale depend on the item and merchant. External "bridge" items carry no shopper discount; a share of that commission funds a pooled nonprofit fund.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no scraping for spam, no submitting organizations you don't represent, no attempting to disrupt the service or other people's signups.

Intellectual property

The Good Circles name, the crown wordmark, and the content of this site belong to Good Circles and may not be used without permission, except for sharing links and excerpts to tell people about the platform.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." Before launch, features and dates described here may change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Good Circles is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA.
